Our Australia Book 3: Australian Events

The Our Australia Series offers insights into what has made Australia the country that it is today. These insights include Australians famous for innovations, inventions, exploits and skills, and important events in Australia’s history that allow us to gain an understanding of how and why our country has developed. Also included are cultural events that have helped shape and create the nation we know today. The Our Australia Series is an excellent new multimedia resource for the classroom.

The series is to be used with the accompanying CD, which aims to enhance students’ understanding of the contents by providing the information in an interesting multimedia format. Links to relevant websites have been included where appropriate.

Our Australia Book 3: Australian Events examines cultural events that have helped shape Australia, and explores disasters and tragedies, significant political events, historical sporting events, Australia’s involvement in the Olympic movement, annual sporting events and national days of celebration and remembrance.

The Remedial Maths Series is designed to provide remediation in key areas of mathematics. The books are directed towards upper primary children requiring assistance with concepts incorporated in the final three years of the primary school mathematics curriculum.
